TRAIL RUNNING is an hight impact aerobic outdoor activity. It means to run along mountain paths and ridges, managing speed, strengh, endurance and efforts at your best.

It’s a physical and mental discipline to manage difficulties, effort and resilience.

Enjoy a mindful trail experience guided by Francesco Bellinvia, Ultratrailer athlete and fisiotherapist, running on the most beautiful itineraries in Apuan Alps, Monti Pisani e Apennines.

CASOLI – MT. MATANNA

Easy itinerary on the SOUTHERN APUAN ALPS RIDGES, short climbings and flat paths, wonderful views to the seacoast and mountain ranges. From Casoli, a little villages set on the hills nearby Camaiore, we’ll reach Grotta all’Onda, Foce del Termine and Mt. Matanna (1.317 mt), then we procede downhill to a Mountain Hut for a rest.
Back to Casoli along a loop itinerary.

Itinerary: Casoli (440 mt) – Grotta Onda (735 mt) – Foce al Termine (974 mt) – Monte Matanna (1317 mt) – Alto Matanna (1050 mt) – Foce di Grattaculo (855 mt).
